What's New

We NEED your photos. This is an unprecedented year and we don't want to miss one smiling face for the yearbook! So, we want to give you an opportunity to get your picture in the yearbook if you didn't come and have your picture taken at school.

The yearbook staff strives to tell the whole story. To do so, we need your help. This year will be especially difficult to get photos of everything! We’re looking for photos of everyday school life, activities and events. While we cannot guarantee all shared photos will be published, if you don’t share, your pictures can’t be considered. So, what are you waiting for? Start sharing today! Use school code 'swhs'.  Click the link to share your photos

Southwestern High school is pleased to announce that our student athletes will be able to compete in fall sports at this time. All Southwestern athletic events will be following the recommendations sent out by the KHSAA.

We will be following guidelines and recommendations to ensure the safety of all students, staff, coaches, and parents.

Guidelines are in the full article.

Student passwords will be reset to [first initial] [last initial] [10-digit SSID], with the initials being upper case letters.  Example: Jane Doe’s password would be JD1234567890

The 10-digit Student ID number can be found on Infinite Campus or the student's report card.

10th, 11th and 12th grade students have another opportunity to take an extra ACT on March 24th. The is a cost of $35 for students, which is a discount from the regular testing price of $52. Students are able to take the test on our campus instead of driving elsewhere. This is a nationally reported test, but no waivers can be used.
